Words hold power. And the way we tell stories is important.
Whether for a brand, a business, or an individual, the way a story is told shapes how it is remembered. I’m drawn to that very specific voice behind the message—the tone, the rhythm, the choice of one word over another—and I think honoring that voice is fundamental to good writing.
I don’t write to sound clever. I write to sound true. That means listening first, understanding what makes a person or brand unique, and then crafting language that feels unmistakable.
Powerful writing doesn’t always need to shout. Sometimes it whispers, sometimes it jokes, sometimes it just sounds right. But it always connects.
Who I am
I am someone who loves the English language and knows how to use it.
With eight years of professional writing experience, including five years as an in-house content and copywriter, I’ve had the privilege of working across a range of industries: tech, medical, fashion, non-profit, and the arts. Now I am a freelance content writer first and foremost, also working as a translator (Italian to English) and as the founder of a private tutoring company.
I love stories. I always have. That’s why even after seven years of being immersed in academia, literature, and heavy-duty theory, my response to that periodic question “Oh you’re a writer! What’s your favourite book?” will inevitably be… “Peter Pan.”
When Ray Charles was asked, “Why country music?” he said, “For the stories” (at least according to myth).

For six years, I worked in a neighbourhood bar in the city where I studied. It was a writer’s gold mine. I heard stories and learned how to tell them. That experience shaped how I listen, how I write, and how I understand people.
I am someone who gives a shit — about language, about the world, about people and their voices. I care about what’s happening, why it’s happening, and how it’s told. And I care about fighting for those voices that are so often silenced.
